Qualifications

• Few years of inside sales and customer service experience.
• Roofing, mechanical, industrial, HVAC, and siding product knowledge preferred.
• Experience in the construction industry is helpful.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support the daily sales operations of a building materials distribution center
• Work with customers and co-workers to build solid relationships based on trust and competence
• Thorough and precise; diagnose problems and provide proven solutions
• Follow up carefully and cheerfully with customers to preserve relationships
• Support outside sales team members
• Directly work with long-term customers daily
• Finalize and oversee the fulfillment of customer orders
• Opportunity to work within own area of expertise to ensure high-quality results
• Able to handle detailed work quickly and correctly
• Support a fast-paced environment with multiple projects simultaneously
