Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in estimating, quoting, or technical sales support preferred.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for trade shows and site visits.

Responsibilities

• Develop and prepare detailed cost estimates and bid proposals using Excel and other tools.
• Collaborate with sales reps and technical staff to gather necessary input for accurate quoting.
• Ensure timely delivery of bids, often under tight deadlines.
• Maintain and update pricing databases, templates, and estimation tools.
• Review customer specifications and drawings to identify scope and requirements.
• Occasionally attend trade shows and customer job sites to support sales efforts and gather project information.
• Communicate with customers indirectly via email, phone, and through sales reps to clarify requirements and follow up on bids.
• Track and report on bid status, win/loss rates, and turnaround times.
