Job summary

Ambient HVAC Supply, part of the Ambient Enterprises family, is seeking an Inside Sales Associate – Parts in Seattle. You will be the primary contact for contractors and internal teams, preparing quotes, processing orders, and guiding inquiries from start to fulfillment.

This role blends customer service with HVAC product knowledge, supporting the warehouse team, identifying upsell opportunities, and maintaining accurate records while building lasting relationships with partners in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; certifications are a plus.
• 1–3+ years inside sales, customer service, or counter sales in HVAC/building products preferred
• HVAC product knowledge or willingness to learn (equipment, parts, systems)
• Strong communication and customer-service skills
• Proficient with CRM systems and Microsoft Office (Outlook and Excel)
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for customers via phone, email, and walk-ins
• Prepare and follow up on quotes, bids, and order confirmations
• Process sales orders accurately and efficiently in the CRM system
• Support outside sales reps with pricing, product availability, and documentation
• Assist customers with parts identification and basic technical questions
• Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries
• Proactively identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products and solutions
• Maintain accurate customer, pricing, and order records
• Build strong, long-term relationships with contractors and internal partners

Role: Inside Sales Associate – Parts

This role is a key customer-facing role responsible for supporting contractors and internal teams by providing product recommendations, preparing quotes, processing orders, and ensuring a smooth experience from inquiry through fulfillment. You’ll also get the opportunity to support our Warehouse team with Counter sales and customer interaction. This role blends customer service, technical product knowledge, and sales support.

Key Responsibilities

Estimated compensation

$25–$30 per hour with flexibility based on experience and skills.
