Job summary

You will coordinate estimating processes with customers, sales teams, and leadership to generate accurate pricing, prepare quotes and contracts, and build comprehensive quotes for repair and service opportunities using Salesforce. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

• Establish rapport and identify prospect needs, budget, decision timeline and next steps.
• Use Salesforce and other tools to track and develop sales opportunities.

• Sell and assist sales process; emphasize product features and select materials based on customer need, specifications, interests, demand, capabilities and limitations.
• Coordinate estimating processes; work with customer, sales teams, estimating and leadership to generate accurate pricing proposals for new and existing products.
• Maintain and interpret all quote documentation with accurate pricing and configurations; prepare quotes and contracts for potential customers.
• Work with sellers in your assigned market to build out comprehensive quotes for repair and service opportunities.
• Answer phone calls, providing price quotes and other information.
• Provide high level of service to internal and external customers.
• Establish customer rapport and effective questioning techniques to identify the prospect’s needs, budget, decision‑making process, timeline, and next steps.
• Utilize applicable sales tools such as Salesforce to track and effectively develop sales opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Engineering OR High School Diploma with 3+ years of experience in HVAC sales in lieu of degree.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction, Facility Management, or Business.
• HVAC industry knowledge.
• Aptitude to understand building mechanical system basics, facility management budgeting processes, sustainability initiatives, and customer needs.
• Strong communication skills and ability to present to clients and key stakeholders.
• Strong team building and relationship building ability and desire.
