U.S. Electrical Services, Inc. (USESI) through its Walters Wholesale Electric affiliate seeks an Inside Sales Associate for our Costa Mesa, CA location.

You will respond to customer inquiries, process orders, and provide quotes with accuracy and urgency. You will support outside sales, track orders, and build strong relationships with customers while coordinating with credit, warehouse, and counter sales. Strong MS Office skills and ERP familiarity are preferred; high school diploma and 2+ years

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent and 2+ years in inside sales or customer service.
• Experience in electrical distribution is a plus.
• Proficient in MS Office; ERP systems familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries and process orders by phone and email.
• Provide price quotes and terms; suggest alternatives.
• Support outside sales by handling transactions and followups.
• Track open orders and backorders to keep customers informed.
• Build strong relationships with knowledgeable, solution-oriented service.
• Coordinate with credit, warehouse, and counter sales as needed.
• Identify and implement process improvements to improve efficiency.

Walters Wholesale Electric, an affiliate of USESI, is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Inside Sales Associate to join our team. This position will be located in our Costa Mesa, CA location.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to customer inquiries and process orders via phone and email with accuracy and urgency.
• Provide quotes on pricing, delivery, and payment terms; suggest alternative products when needed.
• Support outside sales representatives by managing transactions, quotes, and order follow-ups.
• Track open orders, backorders, and project statuses to ensure timely customer communication.
• Build strong customer relationships by offering knowledgeable and solution-oriented service.
• Coordinate with internal teams including credit, warehouse, and counter sales as needed.
• Recommend and help implement process improvements to drive operational efficiency.

Qualifications and Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in inside sales, customer service, or electrical distribution.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Eclipse or Solar ERP is strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Comfortable with basic math and product comparisons; must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Onsite work required
