Job summary

The Brick Company in New Orleans is seeking an Inside Sales Representative / Administrative Assistant to join our Sales & Administration team. This role blends customer service, inside sales, and admin duties to support day-to-day operations and drive sales.

The ideal candidate will build relationships with contractors and homeowners, provide product knowledge, prepare quotes, process orders, and assist the sales team in a fast-paced construction supply environment.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in inside sales, customer service, administrative support, or office management.
• Experience in building materials, masonry, or wholesale distribution preferred.
• Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and basic pricing/order-entry skills.
• Experience with ERP/CRM or accounting software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers by phone, email, and in person with professional service.
• Assist contractors, builders, architects, designers, and homeowners with selecting products.
• Prepare accurate quotations, bids, and sales orders as directed.
• Process orders from inquiry to delivery and invoicing.
• Coordinate product availability with purchasing and yard personnel.
• Maintain strong customer relationships through timely follow-up.
