Job summary

The Chefs' Warehouse is seeking an Inside Sales & Sales Support Associate to back the Outside Sales team. You will handle day‑to‑day customer needs, help with account setup, and analyze profitability data to identify growth opportunities.

You will support 2–4 Outside Sales Representatives and manage select key accounts with a proactive, customer‑centric mindset. Strong communication and data abilities are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; college coursework a plus.
• Prior experience in foodservice distribution, inside sales, or customer service preferred.
• Strong data analysis and profitability metrics understanding.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support 2–4 outside sales reps as primary contact for assigned customers.
• Assist with new account setup and ongoing account maintenance.
• Manage customer orders, add-ons, credits, adjustments, and special requests.
• Communicate out‑of‑stock items, substitutions, and order changes proactively to customers and sales reps.
• Review incoming orders for accuracy and completeness; ensure accuracy of entries.
• Suggest and sell additional or complementary items when appropriate.
• Run and analyze reports related to account profitability and growth.
