Worthington Steel is seeking an Account Manager (Inside Sales Representative) to manage day-to-day relationships with assigned customers in Columbus, OH. You will ensure accurate order execution and proactively support customer needs to protect profitability and deliver an excellent experience.

You will collaborate with Territory Managers and Supply Chain to quote accurately, resolve issues, and drive growth and retention across accounts.

Qualifikationen

• Customer service and relationship-building experience required.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Ability to interpret customer demand, pricing, and account activity.
• Proficient computer skills, including MS Office.

Aufgaben

• Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for assigned accounts, building strong relationships through proactive communication and follow-through on customer needs.
• Manage order entry, order tracking, status review, releases to shipping, and ongoing account follow-up to ensure accurate execution from receipt to shipment.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain and internal partners to support material flow, forecasting, and service performance.
• Maintain accurate customer, material, and pricing information; communicate risks and opportunities to the Territory Manager.
• Own day-to-day resolution of customer concerns, including quality claims, delivery issues, pricing discrepancies, and invoicing.
• Work closely with Sales, Supply Chain, Operations, Quality, Logistics, Purchasing, Finance and other teams to support effective account management.
• Provide coverage for out-of-office team members and ensure continuity of customer service and communication.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
