Job summary

Memtech Brush in Plymouth, MI seeks an Inside Sales Representative to join the team in person. You will handle quotes, manage accounts, support orders, and develop new business opportunities with existing and former customers.

Ideal candidates are organized, personable, and capable of balancing multiple priorities. You will collaborate with production, purchasing, and shipping while expanding relationships and growing sales.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in inside sales, account management, or customer service preferred.
• Strong communication, telephone presence, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple customers, orders, quotes and priorities.
• Comfort with pricing, quotations, and purchase orders.
• Willingness to learn technical products and manufacturing terminology.

Responsibilities

• Proactively follow up on quotations and inquiries to convert opportunities into orders.
• Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers.
• Regularly contact customers to identify new projects, products, or opportunities.
• Reach out to inactive and former customers to reestablish business.
• Follow up on new leads and inquiries rather than waiting for contact.
• Balance proactive sales activity with excellent service to established customers.
• Coordinate with production, purchasing, and shipping regarding requirements and delivery expectations.
• Maintain accurate customer, quote, order, and follow-up information in systems.
