Job summary

PSS Industrial is seeking an experienced sales professional to generate quotes and proposals, support customers at the counter, and close orders. You will coordinate shipping, enter ERP orders, and maintain relationships with customers while working with the Outside Sales Team to strengthen accounts.

Occasional branch support for order delivery and material pickup may be required. The role emphasizes timely service, effective communication, and a strong sense of urgency in a dynamic industrial

Qualifications

• Two plus years of B2B industrial sales experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Infor SXe software experience is a plus.
• A strong sense of urgency and commitment to timely service.
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
• Self motivated to enhance personal development and company performance.

• Provides counter sales support and assists customers with products and services as needed.
• Follows up on quotes and proposals, negotiates as needed and closes transactions.
• Coordinates shipping, material information requirements for products and any other incidental involved in getting the right product to the customer at the right time.
• Enters orders in company’s ERP system based on established rules and practices.
• Maintains working business relationships with established and new customers.
• Works with Outside Sales Team and provides feedback and communication regarding accounts.
• (Small Branches) – Will assist as needed in the delivery of customer orders as well as pick up of materials.

Skills & Qualifications

• Two plus years of business to business industrial sales experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience and skill using Infor SXe software system is a plus.
• A strong sense of urgency and commitment to effectively and timely service our customers.
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record as required.
