Job summary

Newrez is seeking a Mortgage Consultant to originate a variety of loan types for our existing customer base. You will respond to leads by phone, determine borrower needs, and present suitable mortgage products, while driving loan applications and closures in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 2+ years origination experience, an active NMLS license, and proven ability to meet monthly sales goals, with a focus on compliance and customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience in mortgage or banking origination.
• Persuasive communication skills to engage borrowers.
• Inside sales experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Originate purchase and refinance loans from leads via phone.
• Engage with consumers, determine needs, offer appropriate products.
• Take mortgage loan applications by phone and prepare proposals.
• Obtain information to close loans, including credit reports and verifications.
• Meet individual monthly sales goals.
• Stay informed of mortgage industry trends.
• Maintain compliance with Code of Conduct.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
