Central Network Retail Group, LLC (CNRG) is seeking an Inside Commercial Sales team member who helps contractors, builders, and commercial customers find the right products and services. You’ll build relationships, recommend products, create and manage sales orders, and ensure excellent service from start to finish.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys sales, customer service, problem solving and learning about building materials.

Qualifications

• Friendly, dependable, organized and comfortable talking with customers.
• Previous retail sales, inside sales, customer service, or related experience preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable using a computer, phone, email, and POS system.
• Ability to learn products and confidently make recommendations.
• Good math, reading, and writing skills.
• Knowledge of lumber, building materials, hardware, or home improvement products is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and understand their project needs.
• Recommend products and solutions based on customer needs.
• Build relationships with customers and encourage repeat business.
• Answer customer questions in person, by phone, and by email.
• Create sales and special orders accurately using our point-of-sale system.
• Follow up on orders and work with suppliers and team members to resolve issues.
• Look up pricing, product information, and availability.
• Let customers know about new products, promotions, and other opportunities.
• Keep your sales area stocked, organized, clean, and ready for customers.
• Assist with inventory counts, stocking, merchandising, and customer loading as needed.
• Identify and report pricing, product, or inventory issues.
• Follow company safety and loss-prevention procedures.

Physical Requirements

This is an active, hands-on position. You must be able to lift and move merchandise up to 100 lbs., load customer purchases, climb ladders, reach merchandise above six feet, and safely move throughout the store.
