Aspire Health Pharmacy Services in New York requests an Inside Business Consultant to drive generic pharmaceutical sales via outbound calls to existing customers and prospects across Aspire’s distribution network.
You will manage a defined customer base, solicit orders, and grow business through proactive outreach, new customer acquisition, and program enrollment while fostering strong relationships with pharmacy owners and distributors in a fast-paced, office-based environment.
The Inside Business Consultant is a telephone-based sales position responsible for driving generic pharmaceutical sales through Aspire’s authorized distribution partners. The primary focus of the position is consistent outbound sales activity to existing customers and prospective pharmacy customers to generate generic sales, grow customer purchasing, and develop new business.
The Inside Business Consultant is assigned an existing customer base and sales leads and is expected to actively grow that business through regular telephone outreach, while independently prospecting for and developing additional customers. In addition to generic pharmaceutical sales, the position is responsible for growing Aspire membership, promoting and enrolling customers in Aspire programs and services, and expanding the overall customer relationship.
Success in this position requires a strong sales orientation, comfort with frequent outbound calling, the ability to identify and close sales opportunities, consistent follow-up, and the initiative to build business beyond assigned customers and leads.
This position operates primarily in a professional office environment and requires extensive telephone and computer use. The role requires regular interaction with customers, prospects, distribution partners, and internal teams through telephone, email, video conferencing, and other communication platforms.
Because the Inside Business Consultant supports customers and prospects across multiple U.S. time zones, work schedules may vary based on business needs and assigned territories. Flexibility in working hours is required to ensure appropriate customer coverage and support sales activities.
