Job summary

Ryan Herco Flow Solutions is seeking an experienced Application Engineer/Customer Service Representative to provide sales support for parts, equipment and services. The role emphasizes teamwork with Field Sales Representatives and Repair Sales Management to maximize profit margins while maintaining strong customer relationships.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in inside sales or technical support in a manufacturing or distribution environment, preferably in fluid power or fluid

Qualifications

• 2+ years inside sales or technical support in manufacturing or distribution, preferably fluid power or fluid processing.
• Mechanical degree preferred or equivalent work experience, training or education.
• Must be well organized and able to coordinate with functions to achieve results.
• Strong communication skills and computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Learn represented products, applications, strengths and weaknesses, and competitors.
• Learn supplier sizing and selection programs.
• Develop quotations for customers and maintain files.
• Enter orders in the order handling system after reviewing proposals.
• Develop relationships with customers for repeat business in rotating equipment needs.
• Develop relationships with vendors and principals to understand product fit in scope.
• Work with customers to resolve warranty issues.
