Qualifications

• 2-year degree required; 4-year preferred.
• 3 years’ Account Services experience in a Manufacturing Industry required, Food Manufacturing preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
• Demonstrated experience building positive customer relations.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications, proficiency in Excel required.
• Ability to multi-task and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to sit at a computer keyboard for extended periods; occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
• Experience in a noisy, dusty environment with spices is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Originate inside sales; take orders via phone, fax or email and input orders into system.
• Follow orders from placement to invoicing, processing all paperwork; communicate with departments about issues.
• Confirm orders to account purchasers; analyze logistics options and notify logistics company of decisions.
• Input new accounts in the system and maintain accounts codebook; enter sample requests for accounts.
• Communicate with and assist salesperson with requests, issues, credits, and returns; handle account grievances.
• Follow up on aged receivables and outstanding payments/past due invoices.
• Maintain min/max levels of product per customer request and update Excel sheets.
• Provide inventory to customers upon request; plan full truckloads to customers.
• Prepare monthly aged inventory reports; answer phones and direct calls.
• Assist with administrative duties; ensure orders are fulfilled timely/accurately.
