Job summary

Midwest Direct is seeking an inserter machine operator at our Cleveland, OH facility. You will learn to set up, run, and troubleshoot high-speed inserting equipment, read tickets, and follow production specs to ensure quality.

We offer a $500 sign-on bonus, a Mon-Thu 8am-5:30pm schedule with Fri half-day, plus benefits including paid vacation, holidays, medical/dental/vision/life insurance, a 401k, referral bonuses, and transit perks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to read and follow detailed job specifications and diagrams.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team-oriented, deadline-driven environment.
• Basic math skills for measuring and counting.

Responsibilities

Midwest Direct helps our clients efficiently create and deliver their print, mail and digital messages with the best audience data for targeted and accurate deliverability. When you add in our additional delivery channels, such as email, Informed Delivery, and online advertising, we average over two million messages a day delivered to mailboxes, inboxes and online.

Midwest Direct is looking for an inserter machine operator. Our Inserter Operators run the equipment that gets those mailings out the door accurately and on time. We're looking for people with mechanical curiosity and attention to detail, not necessarily a mail industry background.

Job duties include:

• Learn to set up, run, and troubleshoot high-speed inserting equipment under the guidance of experienced operators
• Read job tickets and follow production specs to make sure every piece meets quality standards
• Work as part of a team to hit production deadlines
• Progress through a structured training path toward independent machine operation
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

Schedule:

• Monday through Thursday 8am - 5:30pm
• Friday 8am - 12pm

Compensation:

• Base pay of $15.50 - 18/hr based on experience

Physical demands and abilities:

• The ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without accommodations
