Job summary

Midwest Direct is seeking an inserter machine operator at our Cleveland, OH facility. You will learn to set up, run, and troubleshoot high-speed inserting equipment, read tickets, and follow production specs to ensure quality.

We offer a $500 sign-on bonus, a Mon-Thu 8am-5:30pm schedule with Fri half-day, plus benefits including paid vacation, holidays, medical/dental/vision/life insurance, a 401k, referral bonuses, and transit perks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to read and follow detailed job specifications and diagrams.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team-oriented, deadline-driven environment.
• Basic math skills for measuring and counting.

Responsibilities

• Learn to set up, run, and troubleshoot high-speed inserting equipment under the guidance of experienced operators.
• Read job tickets and follow production specs to make sure every piece meets quality standards.
• Work as part of a team to hit production deadlines.
• Progress through a structured training path toward independent machine operation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
