Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of formal training in an approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• NYS CRT licensure required upon hire.
• ARRT certification with CE credits required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepares room and patient per order.
• Sets up equipment, positions patients, and determines exposure factors for high-quality images.
• Verifies patient information in electronic systems and adheres to Dual patient identifier procedures.
• Produces diagnostic, high-quality images for radiologist interpretation.
• Transfers patients using assistive devices and maintains accurate records.
• Completes and bills studies accurately.
• May train new employees or lead day-to-day activities.
• Other duties as assigned.
