Job summary

Healogics is the leading provider of advanced wound care in the United States. The Inpatient Wound Care and Ostomy Nurse will evaluate patients, develop initial care plans with providers, and support the outpatient wound center as needed.

The role requires an ADN or higher nursing degree, active RN license, and BLS; 1+ year wound/acute care experience is expected. Certification in wound/ostomy is preferred with commitment to obtain if not certified.

Qualifications

• ADN or equivalent required; BSN preferred.
• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Current BLS CPR certification.
• Min of 1 year wound care/acute care experience; case management preferred.
• Wound/Ostomy certification preferred or required by state; willingness to obtain within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical evaluation and patient care for wound care and ostomy patients.
• Collaborate with attending provider on initial plan of care.
• Support outpatient wound center as needed and assist in discharge planning.
