Northwestern Medicine is seeking an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join the Wound Care team. This inpatient AP provider will deliver comprehensive care, diagnose and manage health concerns, and partner with physicians to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

The role supports professional development, with tuition reimbursement, loan repayment, and a broad benefits package. Schedule typically consists of Monday–Friday, with potential weekend coverage, in a dynamic hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing or PA program completed.
• APRNs certification and Illinois license required.
• Active inpatient experience preferred for NP role.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient acute care and manage health problems.
• Prescribe medications and order tests as clinically appropriate.
• Collaborate with physician and health professionals.
• Mentor students and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
