Northwestern Medicine has an exciting opportunity for an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner in the Wound Care department. This Advanced Practice Provider will deliver inpatient care with a schedule of Monday–Friday 8:00am–4:30pm, with some weekend expectation possible.

The role requires master’s-level preparation, acute care certification, and Illinois APRN/MD privileges to provide comprehensive patient care and education.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited school/college of nursing.
• Acute care certification required for APRNs.
• Illinois RN license and APRN license/credentialing as approved by the NM MSO.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct inpatient clinical care to patients.
• Prescribe medications and order tests per privileges.
• Document care and education in the medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians and other health professionals.
