Job summary

REHAB Hospital of the Pacific in Hawaii seeks an Inpatient Therapy Scheduler to coordinate patient therapy hours and minimize scheduling conflicts across disciplines. You will partner with therapists, CCCs, nurses, and front-desk staff to ensure timely care and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• At least one year experience in a healthcare setting.
• Basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with therapists, information desk staff, and clinic leadership to ensure timely scheduling of patients’ appointments.
• Provide timely response to internal and external customers regarding scheduling questions, concerns and comments.
• Work with outpatient personnel to schedule float and clinical staff as needed when available.
• Monitor daily therapists’ schedules for open slots to meet productivity goals.
• Maintain communication with treating therapists to align schedules with patient needs.
• Demonstrate flexibility with work schedule to support REHAB.
• Incorporate schedule changes due to medical, staff, or patient needs into the plan.
• Review schedules for accuracy before posting in patient care units and clinics.
• Ensure patients are scheduled to meet therapy minutes required.
• Follow organizational policies and procedures; perform other duties as assigned.
