Job summary

The REHAB Hospital of the Pacific in Hawaii is seeking a qualified Physical Therapist to join our Therapy team on a part-time or call-in basis for inpatient and outpatient services.

You will assess patients, design and adjust treatment plans, supervise support staff, document progress, and collaborate with the care team to achieve discharge goals. Hawaii license and BLS required; inpatient and outpatient experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current State of Hawaii PT licensure.
• Current BLS certification.
• Graduate from an APTA accredited school of Physical Therapy.
• Ability to safely and effectively manage patients' mobility.
• Clear communication in English, verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients for therapy services.
• Develops, implements and modifies treatment plan.
• Delegates treatment activities to Physical Therapy Assistants (PTA) and staff as appropriate.
• Documents timely and appropriately, in compliance with regulatory and REHAB standards.
• Involves patient/caregiver in discharge goals and self-care training.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
