Job summary

Hill Country MHDD Centers is seeking a Therapist - LPHA to join the Werlein Crisis Stabilization Unit. The role provides inpatient therapy to adults using CBT, TF-CBT, and CPT, contributes to recovery planning, complete assessments, and document progress through notes.

The CSU operates 24/7/365 and emphasizes trauma-informed, person-centered care. You will work within a multidisciplinary team, participate in treatment planning, training staff, and ensure licensure and credentialing requirements

Qualifications

• Master's degree in psychology or related field required.
• Current LPC/LMFT/LCSW/Psych D license in Texas required or eligible for licensure.
• Maintain CPR certification and Prevention and Management of Aggressive Behavior training within 3 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma-informed, person-centered group and individual therapy to CSU adults using CBT, TF-CBT, and CPT.
• Complete assessments to inform diagnosis and treatment strategies for individuals with complex needs.
• Develop multidisciplinary, Person-Centered Recovery Plan (PCRP) for each CSU client.
• Complete timely progress notes documenting services, client response, and progress toward goals.
• Attend staff meetings and interdisciplinary team meetings; provide clinical guidance and staff trainings on clinical issues.
• Maintain credentialing and licensure without lapses; keep ANSA/CANS certifications current.
• Provide discharge planning and continuity of care services as needed.
• Adhere to HIPAA and Hill Country MHDD policies.
