Job summary

The Harris Center for Mental Health and IDD is seeking a Licensed Professional of the Healing Arts (LPHA) to join our team in Humble, TX. You will conduct independent assessments and therapy (individual, group, and family) and provide crisis interventions under supervision, aligned with treatment plans.

Responsibilities include monitoring progress, conducting assessments, and coordinating access to services while maintaining ethical and culturally sensitive practice.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required.
• Current Texas licensure: LPC, LMFT or LCSW.

Responsibilities

• Monitor progress toward treatment goals and assess intervention effectiveness.
• Perform clinical assessments to determine service needs.
• Provide CBT focusing on reducing symptoms of mental illness and criminogenic risk factors.
• Offer crisis intervention to prevent escalation and admission to restrictive settings.
• Educate on co-occurring disorders, medications, and related skills training.
• Coordinate access to necessary services and participate in treatment planning.
