Universal Health Services seeks an Inpatient Therapist for its Millwood Hospital PICU unit in Arlington, TX. The role focuses on psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and family counseling in an inpatient setting, serving children, adolescents, and adults.

Licensure (LPC/LMFT/LCSW) and CPR/CPI training are required. The therapist will work with a multidisciplinary team, document thoroughly per HIPAA, and participate in ongoing quality improvement and potential research initiatives.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work or a related mental health field.
• 1–3 years of experience in a psychiatric healthcare facility.
• State licensure: LPC, LPC-A, LMFT, LMSW or LCSW.
• CPR and CPI training completed prior to starting work.

Responsabilités

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations using ICD-9/10 to guide treatment planning.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy in an inpatient setting.
• Manage crisis situations with effective de-escalation to ensure patient safety.
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams and document in HIPAA-compliant records.
• Engage in data collection or research activities to support quality improvement.
