UCI Health is seeking a clinical nurse to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement a plan of care for a specific group of assigned patients in adult acute care.

You will evaluate patient outcomes, revise plans as needed, and mentor students and new nurses as a Patient Care Coordinator when requested by the supervisor. The role requires flexibility to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment.

Qualificações

• Minimum of 2 years recent telemetry experience.
• Minimum of 2 years recent inpatient clinical nursing experience in adult acute care.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required for external candidates.
• Ability to work variable shifts including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to maintain flexibility and work well in a fast paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement a plan of care for a specific group of assigned patients.
• Assess, plan, intervene and advocate for the patient across the continuum of care.
• Evaluate patient outcomes, effectiveness of plan of care, and readiness for discharge.
• Act as a role model and mentor to students and new nurses; serve as a PCC when requested by supervisor/manager.
