Orlando Health Melbourne Hospital is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support patient care under RN/LPN supervision. You will assist with daily activities, maintain a safe environment, and document essential information to ensure high-quality service.

The role requires a high school diploma, Florida CNA/LPN credentials where applicable, and current BLS. Prior healthcare experience is valued, with opportunities to grow within a patient-centered team dedicated to excellence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Nursing Assistant or Patient Care Assistant Program required or acceptable substitution.
• State of Florida CNA certification or LPN licensure preferred.
• Graduate of an approved school of nursing or EMT/Paramedic is acceptable.
• BLS/HealthCare Provider certification must be current.
• One year of relevant healthcare experience is preferred but not required.

Responsabilités

• Assists patient with hygiene, mobility, hydration, elimination, and nutrition needs.
• Provides routine treatments and maintains a safe, clean, and organized patient environment.
• Maintains patient safety and confidentiality; follows standard precautions.
• Assists with admission, transfer, and discharge processes.
• Takes and records vitals and documents pertinent information per policy.
• Transports and delivers items, equipment, and medications throughout the facility.
• Participates in handoff reports and daily rounding to ensure patient care continuity.
