Job summary

Orlando Health Melbourne Hospital is seeking a Nursing Assistant to perform patient care under the supervision of licensed staff. You will assist with hygiene, mobility, nutrition, and daily activities while maintaining safety and patient privacy.

Responsibilities include documenting patient information, assisting with admissions and transfers, and supporting the care team to ensure a positive patient experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
• Minimum 1 year nursing assistant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists patients with hygiene, mobility, hydration, and nourishment.
• Maintains a safe, clean, and organized patient environment.
• Protects patient privacy and dignity.
• Assists with admission, transfers, and discharge as needed.
• Documents patient information and reports changes to the RN.
