Responsibilities

• Implements direct patient care under the supervision of the nurse, assisting with ADLs and vital signs.
• Collects clinical data and reports changes in patient status to the nurse.
• Assists in patient and family education and documents care activities with medical terminology.
• Ensures supplies and equipment are available to meet patient needs.
• Contributes to patient safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
