Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to join our national inpatient rehabilitation team. You will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech and language disorders, developing personalized plans and tracking progress in a supportive, technology-enabled environment.

Current state licensure or certification is required, CCC certification preferred, and CPR must be obtained within 30 days of hire. A Master’s degree is preferred or Bachelor’s with relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
