Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to join our inpatient rehabilitation team, delivering focused therapy and compassionate care. You will evaluate and treat patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs, documenting progress and outcomes within a supportive, technology-enabled environment.

We value licensure, CCC certification, and CPR readiness, with a preference for a Master's degree (or Bachelor's with field experience).

Qualifications

• CCC Certification in Speech-Language Pathology.
• State licensure/certification required by state regulations.
• CPR certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's with relevant field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop, and administer personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identify issues and modify speech therapy treatment as necessary.
• Track and document patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrate patient victories along the way.
