Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to join our nationwide inpatient rehabilitation team. You will evaluate and treat patients with speech and language needs and develop personalized plans of care.

Current state licensure and CCC certification are required; CPR certification or training within 30 days is expected. A Master's degree is preferred, with Bachelor's considered depending on experience.

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification required or must be obtained.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop, and administer personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identify issues and modify speech therapy treatment as necessary.
• Track and document patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrate patient victories along the way.
