Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate, plan, and deliver personalized speech and language therapy for patients in inpatient rehabilitation. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and use evidence-based approaches to help patients regain communication skills.

This role requires state licensure, CCC certification, CPR certification, and a master’s degree (or bachelor’s with relevant experience).

Qualifications

• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (state licensure).
• CCC Certification required or in process.
• CPR certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor’s with relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop and administer personalized speech-language treatment plans.
• Identify issues and modify therapy approaches as needed.
• Track and document patient progress and outcomes.
• Celebrate patient milestones and advocate for timely rehabilitation.
