Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients with speech and language disorders. You will develop individualized treatment plans, monitor progress, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in an inpatient rehab setting.

Applicants should hold current state licensure, CCC, and CPR certification (or obtain within 30 days). A Master’s degree is preferred; a Bachelor’s degree with field experience will also be considered.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC Certification required for the role.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop, and administer individualized treatment plans for speech and language rehabilitation.
• Identify issues and modify speech therapy interventions as needed.
• Track, document, and report patient progress and response to treatment.
• Celebrate patient progress and outcomes with the care team.
