Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients with speech and language needs in a national inpatient rehabilitation setting. You will develop individualized plans, document progress, and adjust therapies to optimize communication outcomes for patients across our network.

The role requires state licensure, CCC certification, and CPR either at hire or within 30 days. A master’s degree is preferred, or a bachelor’s with relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification (ASHA) is preferred.
• CPR certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop, and administer personalized speech-language treatment plans for patients.
• Identify issues and modify therapy approaches as needed.
• Track, document, and report patient progress and treatment responses.
• Celebrate patient victories and support rehabilitation goals.
