Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate, plan, and administer personalized speech and language rehabilitation for patients in our inpatient setting. You will develop treatment plans, monitor progress, and adapt therapy to patient needs.

The role requires state licensure, CCC certification, CPR within 30 days of hire, and a Master’s degree (or Bachelor’s with relevant experience). Encompass Health offers growth opportunities within a national leader in post-acute care.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification required.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master’s degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.

Education
