Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to provide evidence-based therapy across inpatient rehabilitation settings. You will assess, diagnose, and tailor treatment plans to help patients recover communication skills and swallowing, with teamwork across disciplines.

The role requires state licensure, CCC certification, CPR/BLS certification within 30 days, and a master's degree (or equivalent experience). Weekend commitments are part of the schedule.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
• CCC certification required or completed.
• CPR certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience.
• Monthly weekend commitments are required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop, and administer personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identify issues and modify speech therapy treatment as necessary.
• Track and document patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrate patient victories along the way.
