Job summary

Spaulding Rehabilitation Cape Cod, part of Mass General Brigham, is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to join our hospital team on Cape Cod. The role focuses on assessing and treating speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, swallowing, and fluency disorders in a patient-centered setting.

You will develop individualized plans, implement therapy using diverse modalities, monitor progress, and educate patients and families.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in speech-language pathology is required.
• Massachusetts license for SLP is required.
• CCC-SLP or ASHA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, treat and help prevent speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, swallowing, fluency and related disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
• Implement treatment plans through diverse techniques and modalities.
• Monitor and document patient progress; adjust plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families about speech-language disorders and provide communication strategies.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
