Job summary

Atrium Health Carolinas Rehabilitation Charlotte is seeking an Occupational Therapist specializing in Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) rehabilitation. You will work with an interdisciplinary team to help patients regain independence and meaningful daily living skills, providing intensive, individualized rehab within a nationally recognized program.

The role requires a Bachelor's in OT with state license and BLS; prior experience with neurologic populations, particularly SCI, is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy required.
• Applicable state OT license required.
• BLS required per policy guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, plans, directs and administers occupational therapy programs in inpatient settings.
• Plans and conducts OT programs to restore function and independence.
• Supervises OT Assistants, Rehab Technicians, volunteers and students.
• Documents evaluations, progress, and discharge notes.
• Communicates patient progress to physicians and care teams.
