Job summary

UW Health in northern Illinois (Rockford, IL) is seeking an RN to join the 9th Floor team at SwedishAmerican Hospital. The role features 90% FTE, full-time with Evening/Night 12-hour shifts and a rotation that includes weekends and holidays.

You will provide patient care in a fast-paced setting and participate in an on-call, overtime, and shift-differential environment. Benefits include PTO, medical/dental/vision, retirement, disability, paternity leave, adoption and tuition assistance, wellness

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing program. Required
• Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained. Required
• No minimum experience required
• 911 Call Center Triage Only - 2 years experience in an Emergency Room setting or Psychiatric Nursing setting. Required
• 911 Call Center Triage Only - Community nursing experience. Preferred

Work Schedule

90% FTE, full-time. Evening/Night shift, 3 12-hour shifts (1900-0730) per week, weekend/holiday rotation. You will work at the UW Health SwedishAmerican Hospital.

Additional components of compensation may include:

• Evening, night, and weekend shift differential

Qualifications

Licenses & Certifications

• Current RN licensure to practice in the State of Illinois. Required
• Basic Life Support/CPR Certification. Required
• Must possess a current, valid driver’s license issued by the individual’s state of residence. Upon Hire Required
• Specialty certification in area of concentration. Preferred
• 9th Floor Only: ACLS certification within two years of hire. Preferred
