Jobtome is listing a Registered Nurse for a Nights shift at SRMC-Med Surg on the 1st Floor in New Mexico. The role provides direct nursing care across age groups with clinical leadership and relief-charge duties as needed.

The position requires RN licensure in NM, CPR/BLS, and a willingness to participate in ongoing education while supporting patient safety and quality care in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Program Graduate
• No minimum experience required
• Nationally Accredited Nursing Graduate
• Bilingual English/Spanish (optional)
• RN in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement by NM
• CPR for Healthcare/BLS Prov or Prof Rescuers w/in 30 days

Responsibilities

• Follow patient safety policies and protocols
• Provide direct nursing care to assigned patients
• Assume relief charge duties when designated
• Document and communicate clinical findings
• Assist with emergency measures for sudden patient changes
• Discharge planning and patient/family teaching
• Administer medications, including IV medications
• Maintain safe patient environment
• Triage calls and inquiries per policy
• Participate in orientation and precepting responsibilities
