Job summary

SRMC is seeking a registered nurse for the Inpatient Surgical department on a 0.90 FTE nights shift. You will provide direct patient care across age groups, lead clinical teams, and assume relief charge duties as assigned, while following hospital policies and procedures.

Responsibilities include medication administration, care planning, and patient/family education. Qualifications include RN NM licensure or reciprocal agreement, ACLS, BLS, and arrhythmia certification within specified

Qualifications

• RN licensure in NM or by reciprocal agreement.
• CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuers within 30 days.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
• Basic Arrhythmia Cert within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Work within the nursing process to provide direct nursing care to assigned patients.
• Provide clinical leadership for staff and relief charge duties when designated.
• Ensure adherence to Hospitals and departmental policies and procedures.
• Care for Neonate to Geriatric age groups; participate in discharge planning and teaching.
• Administer medications, including IV, and document findings.
