Geisinger Bloomsburg Hospital is seeking an Inpatient Registered Nurse with the Advanced Acute Care Medical team. Eligible candidates may receive a $21,500 hiring incentive, a $41.50 minimum hiring rate, and up to $7 shift differentials for evening, night, and weekend shifts.

Relocation funds up to $7,500 are offered to eligible individuals. Full benefits start on day one, including health, dental, and vision, multiple medical plans, FSA/HSA options, and a robust 401(k).

• Graduate from Specialty Training Program-Nursing (Required)

Responsibilities

• Completes assessments as established by scope of practice and unit standards.
• Addresses physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs of patient and family throughout the continuum of care.
• Formulates, coordinates, and provides plan of care including patient and family education, discharge planning with the interdisciplinary team.
• Provides direct patient care including treatments, medications, and diagnostic studies.
• Evaluates effectiveness of nursing interventions and revises plan of care based on patient response.
• Initiates collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary team to resolve patient needs.
• Solves equipment issues and ensures safe handling.
• Participates in unit-based decision-making regarding evidence-based practice.
• Actively participates in quality and safety education programs.
