Job summary

Geisinger Bloomsburg Hospital is seeking an Inpatient Registered Nurse for the Advanced Acute Care Medical team on a straight night shift. The role offers a $21,500 hiring incentive, a minimum $41.50 hourly rate with increases for experience, and up to $7 shift differentials for evenings, nights, and weekends.

Relocation funds of up to $7,500 are available for eligible candidates. Schedule is 36 hours per week across three 12-hour night shifts, with every other weekend and rotating holidays.

Qualifications

• Graduate from Specialty Training Program in Nursing.
• Licensed Registered Nurse (Pennsylvania) with BLS certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Completes assessments per scope of practice and unit standards.
• Addresses physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs of patient and family throughout the care continuum.
• Formulates, coordinates, and provides plan of care with education and discharge planning.
• Provides direct patient care including treatments, medications, and diagnostics.
• Evaluates effectiveness of nursing interventions and revises the plan as needed.
• Collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary team to meet patient needs.
