Job summary

Aura Health is seeking an inpatient registered nurse to provide comprehensive clinical care, including assessment, planning, intervention for assigned patients in a hospital setting.

The role requires collaboration with the healthcare team, patient and family education, monitoring and adjusting care plans, administering medications and transfusions, and leading staff. Supervisory duties may include mentoring, on-call coverage, and participation in quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Current state RN licensure and CPR/BLS certification.
• Minimum 2 years of nephrology nursing experience.
• Preferred leadership or preceptorship experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform data collection and analysis before, during, and after treatment.
• Educate patients and families on treatment and health needs.
• Monitor patient status, recognize changes, and collaborate with the care team.
• Administer medications and transfusions; manage adverse reactions.
• Ensure safe patient care and coordinate with other care providers.
• Serve as leader and mentor, supporting quality improvement initiatives.
