Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry‑level RN to join the CAP program in the Cape Cod area, covering Cape Cod Hospital, Falmouth Hospital, and Spaulding Rehab Cape Cod. No prior RN dialysis experience required; 12 weeks of paid, structured training with a Preceptor and Nurse Educator.

The role supports a large network of nephrology care with extensive patient contact. As an inpatient RN CAP1, you will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care, collaborate with the team, document

Qualifications

• RN with <=2 years in nephrology nursing or related field.
• Minimum 9 months RN experience; 12 months preferred.
• 6 months acute dialysis experience preferred.
• Hemodialysis or ICU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinically competent care including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Document patient data and adjust treatment plans under supervision.
• Educate patients and families on learning needs.
• Coordinate communication with dialysis providers and facility staff.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Participate in staff training and orientation of new staff.
• Support outpatient facilities as needed.
• Complete CAP requirements to advance.
