Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care seeks an entry-level RN CAP 1 to join our inpatient services team, supporting dialysis patients across Cape Cod Hospital, Falmouth Hospital, and Spaulding Rehab Cape Cod.

No prior nephrology dialysis experience is required; 12 weeks of paid, structured training with a dedicated Preceptor and Nurse Educator helps new RNs thrive in this role. A collaborative environment with nephrologists supports professional growth.

Qualifications

• Entry level for RNs with less than 2 years of Nephrology Nursing experience as an RN.
• Minimum 9 months experience as a Registered Nurse, 12 months (preferred).
• 6 months acute dialysis experience (preferred).
• Hemodialysis and/or ICU experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Performs all essential functions under the direction of the Supervisor and with guidance from Educator/Preceptor.
• Documents patient data pre–during–post treatment and updates the medical record.
• Directs and provides safe, effective patient care for dialysis procedures as prescribed.
• Coordinates communication with facilities and nephrology team to ensure continuity of care.
