Qualifications

• Education - Associate degree in Nursing; Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Experience - Two (2) years of experience as a registered nurse.
• Holds a current RN license recognized in the state.
• Knowledge of nursing process, regulations and patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Collects data and completes nursing assessment; identifies priorities for patient plan of care.
• Develops and updates the plan of care with patient/family and healthcare team.
• Provides direct care per the established nursing plan and nursing scope of practice.
• Delivers care with emphasis on safety, compliance, and quality improvement.
• Discharge planning to ensure continuity of care and appropriate referrals.
• Communicates and documents care changes and patient progress to team.
• Maintains professional licensure and completes mandatory education.
