Job summary

Prisma Health is seeking a skilled registered nurse to provide clinical direction for patient care in our Baptist Easley Medical Campus inpatient unit. You will lead care from assessment through outcomes, using evidence-based practices to promote safety and quality.

You will collaborate with the healthcare team, develop and adjust care plans, and ensure timely communication, documentation and discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Education - Associate degree in Nursing; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience - One year as a registered nurse.
• In lieu: Prisma Health Nurse Residency Program or comparable residency.
• In lieu: 1 year LPN experience for internal candidates within same service line.
• In lieu: Nursing diploma with RN licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical direction for patient care in acute inpatient setting.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care per nursing process.
• Ensure compliance with licensure, training, and organizational policies.
• Delegate tasks and supervise team members as appropriate.
• Maintain patient safety and infection control standards.
• Participate in quality improvement and performance audits.
• Document and communicate patient progress and plan of care.

Education
